Overview |
As cybersecurity attacks are on the rise it is important to not only protect our organization but also our clients information. Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) provided by DUO Authentication ensures that if a password is compromised attackers will not be able to access our systems or data. Unfortunatley entering MFA codes repeatedly can be time consuming. In an effort to reduce this time, DUO has released a "Remember Me" feature. This feature will allow you to bypass entering an MFA code when logging in after your system has been locked or has gone to sleep.
Please note that "Remember Me" is only available on your physical laptop or desktop and does not apply to your Azure Virtual Desktop login.

Before You Start |
If the you change networks, authenticate with offline access while the workstation is disconnected, log out of Windows, reboot the workstation, or click the "Cancel" button during workstation unlock, Duo for Windows Logon invalidates the current trusted session and the next Windows logon or unlock attempt will require Duo authentication again.
Instructions |
Enabling "Remember Me" on DUO Authentication
- Turn on your company provided desktop or laptop.
- Enter your login credentials.
- Enter your DUO MFA Code & check the box "Remember me for 8 hours".
- Click [Log In]
*The "Remember Me" check will remain checked on your device.
Outcome |
Enabling "Remember Me" should help reduce the number of times you are required to enter your DUO MFA code when logging in. Again, "Remember Me" only applies to your company provided desktop or laptop. Logins to Azure Virtual Desktop will still require your DUO MFA code.
